2009届中国昆嵛山·养马岛全真道武术文化国际交流大会定于2009年7月18日在烟台市养马岛天马广场举行。

烟台市牟平区是千年古县，历史文化名城。南有全真祖庭昆嵛山，是中国全真道文化的发祥地，自然景观雄伟神奇，名胜古迹掩隐山林，道教文化源远流长，具有深厚的文化底蕴，名声享誉中外；北有皇家马苑养马岛，素有“东方夏威夷”之美称，昔日为秦始皇养马宝地，岛上风光秀丽，气候宜人，是省级旅游度假区；山海之间有人称“华清第二池”的疗养宝地龙泉温泉。山海泉孕育了古老的全真道文化和山海文化，形成了“山载万物，海纳百川”的人文精神，沉积了丰富的独具特色的旅游资源。这里是旅游休闲的圣地，这里是进行全真道武术文化交流的乐园。

烟台市牟平山海文化研究会于2008奥运之年，成功举办了“首届中国昆嵛山·养马岛全真武术文化国际交流大会”，特邀原中国国家武协副主席、中华武林泰斗张山先生；世界传统武术联合会主席孟宪堂先生；电影《少林寺》主演、螳螂拳一代宗师于海先生；2008年度中国最具影响力十大武术新闻人物、“神州第一剑”、一代武术宗师、世界著名武术家李宗贵先生；电影《井冈山》青年毛泽东的扮演者、著名影星金阳先生等武术文化、影视界的名人到会指导、祝贺、献艺和颁奖。

有来自国内的湖北、北京、贵州、广东、河南、辽宁和山东等七个省市的26支代表队和来自美国、英国、爱尔兰、澳大利亚等国家和地区的代表队参加了比赛交流。香港国际武术节组委会、香港大公报、阳光卫视发来贺幅、贺信，中央电视台十台《教育科学》频道亲赴大会现场摄制的烟台市牟平山海文化研究会会长鲍玉平的武术专题先后在中央电视台、牟平电视台、烟台电视台 (WWW.CCTV.COM“螳螂武痴”鲍玉平)播放。

“首届中国昆嵛山·养马岛全真武术文化国际交流大会”得到了烟台市牟平区区委、区政府和相关部门的大力支持，得到了一些企业、公司和个体工商业主的大力支持，得到了本会会员的大力支持，同时也得到了社会志愿者的大力支持，在此表示衷心的感谢！
